1991. Japan’s taste for internationalization was refined this year with the creation of We’re, the multi-cultural, multi-lingual magazine. Born in multi-ethnic Okubo, Shinjuku, We’re was the metaphor for Japan’s globalization – a polyglot of cultures and a hope for Japan as a centre of learning and understanding of Asian and other world cultures.

The same desire exists today at the Third Eye Corporation as it did in 1991: To have Japan serve as a center of communication and understanding to the world. Communicating with the world means sharing, expressing and understanding each other’s cultures, histories and customs. Our goal is to contribute to society by providing quality translation coordination services.

We have received the trust of many people since our early days in Okubo. Through our efforts in editing and publishing we have been able to reach out and touch people from all walks of life. As a monthly, We’re provided the vehicle to reach out to the world in four languages; Japanese, English, Chinese and Korean. We continue this dream today.

The Third Eye Corporation was established with one philosophical thought in mind: To use the power of one’s intellectual and emotional third eye; our inner vision, to see things from multiple perspectives; as reader or writer, as producer or consumer.
